Buku Panduan ini diterbitkan untuk pemahaman dan rujukan warga UPM berkenaan dengan penyediaan dokumen program pengajian akademik peringkat prasiswazah dan siswazah melibatkan: a. penawaran program akademik baharu dan semakan kurikulum program akademik sedia ada; dan b. akreditasi program pengajian. Ia telah dikemaskini berdasarkan dokumen MQF Edisi Kedua (2024) yang dikeluarkan oleh MQA yang berkuat kuasa pada 1 Ogos 2026 dengan pengukuhan bagi perkara berikut: i. Values-Based Education (VBE); ii. Flexible Learning Pathways; iii. Global Sustainability Agenda; dan iv. Harmonisation of MQF with other Sectoral/ Occupational Frameworks.

The Standards for Undergraduate Programme provide essential guidance for Higher Education Providers (HEPs) on the minimum acceptable practices in designing and delivering undergraduate programmes in Malaysia. Given that numerous programmes do not fit within any specific Programme Standards (PS), this Standards becomes invaluable. Unlike discipline-specific PS, this Standards provides a baseline, offering flexibility for contextualization while ensuring adherence to minimum requirements.

Buku panduan ini bertujuan untuk menerangkan polisi, governan dan tanggungjawab pusat tanggungjawab (PTJ) dan individu yang terlibat dalam penawaran, pengurusan dan pemantauan program ODL serta kriteria dan standard COPPA:ODL (2019). Panduan ini perlu dibaca bersama dengan COPPA:ODL (2019) serta dasar dan arahan yang berkuat kuasa dari semasa ke semasa berkaitan program ODL. Panduan ini akan menjadi sumber rujukan kepada pemilik program, pengurus program, panel penilai audit program dan pihak yang terlibat dalam pengendalian dan pemantauan kualiti program ODL di UPM.

Guidelines to Good Practices: Assessment of Student Learning

A guideline for the establishment of good practices is essential, especially in ensuring the provision of quality in higher education. The guideline of good practice for assessment of students' learning provides fundamental understanding in assessing students following basic principles. This includes ensuring fairness, relevance, and grounded ethical values that uphold integrity, validity, and reliability. This guideline has been developed with the vision and mission to benefit higher education providers (HEPs) in implementing assessment. Vision - Ensuring that HEPs are well informed with basic understanding of assessing students’ learning, which is key to confirming that learning has taken place. It is envisaged that a clear understanding of the basic principles of assessing students will help HEPs provide quality education in light of the aspirations of the nation. Mission - Providing a comprehensive guideline that gives room for future development on assessment in higher education.

Guidelines to Good Practices: Programme Design and Delivery

The Guidelines to Good Practices: Programme Design and Delivery (GGP: PDD) is a document developed to assist Higher Education Providers (HEP) to meet the standards of Programme Design and Delivery, which is Area 1 as stated in the Code of Practice for Programme Accreditation (COPPA), second edition issued in 2017 [also known as COPPA, Second Edition (2017)]. The document is part of a series of similar guidelines covering other areas in the COPPA, as well as specific themes under quality assurance of higher education. The GGPs are developed and written to guide and assist HEPs implement the standards and practices in order to conform with the listed COPPA standards. The GGP presents some good practices in which the HEP can improvise, innovate or customise further to suit its internal context, or propose its own practise which also addresses the specified standards and requirements.
