The Malaysian Ministry of Higher Education recently launched the Experiential Learning and Competency-Based Education Landscape (EXCEL) initiative, which aims to enhance the national tertiary education curriculum through four cores: Industry Driven Experiential  Learning (IDEAL), Community Resilience Experiential Learning (CARE), Research Infused Experiential Learning (REAL), and Personalised Experiential Learning (POISE). At Universiti Putra Malaysia, we welcome  the initiative and are committed to incorporating the EXCEL framework across all of our programs.
