OBE BASED CURRICULUM DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT 02 March 2022 (Wednesday) / 10.00 am - 12.00 pm   Trainer: Prof. Ir. Ts. Dr. Nor Kamariah Noordin Faculty of Engineering, UPM     The challenging education landscape demands that academics continue to play their various roles while fulfilling their core functions with greater intensity. The main objective of this course/workshop is to provide guidance to lecturers especially those who are in the process of reviewing or developing their own curriculum and syllabus based on UPM OBE and MQF 2.0 frameworks. Contents to be included in this course include among others, the outcomes hierarchy in OBE, domain of taxonomy, MQF five domain clusters, and constructive alignment. Participants will get to experience hands-on session on the ‘how-to’ of curriculum and syllabus development.     At the end of the session, participants will be able to:   Explain definition and process of OBE; To align program outcomes to those of MQF 5 clusters of domain outcomes; Develop a good learning-outcome statements based on dominant component of syllabus; and Align the learning and assessment activities based on the intended outcomes.
