UPM Teaching and Learning Innovation Committee (JKIPP UPM)

 
 

In conjugation with the definition of innovation in teaching and learning not only focuses on e-learning but also includes a variety of teaching and learning delivery methods, the Centre for Academic Development (CADe) through its 96th Mesyuarat Pengurusan has agreed to re-branding the Universiti Putra Malaysia e-Learning Committee (JKeP) as the UPM Teaching and Learning Innovation Committee (JKIPP). This branding is seen as necessary for the development of UPM academic teaching and learning innovation to be more effective and effective.

To ensure the teaching and learning innovations can be implemented to all levels of the community at UPM, members of JKIPP are appointed based on the following conditions:

  1. academic staff who are directly involved in the affairs and activities related to teaching and learning innovation in the faculty, OR
  2. academic staff who are experts in the affairs of implementation of teaching and learning innovation in the faculty. 
 
 
 

The Terms of Reference of JKIPP UPM is as follows:

 
 
  1. Planning, coordinating and monitoring implementation of teaching and learning innovations at UPM.
  2. Providing clear policies, guidelines and best practices for teaching and learning innovation for appropriate academic, student and KPI referrals.
  3. Monitoring and planning the continuous improvements of the systems that facilitate the implementation of teaching and learning innovations.
  4. Controlling, monitoring and improving the quality of teaching and learning content.
  5. Assist in planning infrastructure, resources, training and support related to teaching and learning innovations.
