Putra Learning Space (PLS)

Putra Learning Space (PLS) is an initiative of the Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic and International) and the Centre for Academic Development (CADe), Universiti Putra Malaysia to establish training room for academic staff under the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Programme. With regard to learning space approach as emphasized in the Critical Agenda Projects (CAP), the training room has been modified to be more conducive, interactive and student-centred learning (SCL) oriented.

Putra Learning Space has two main areas; learning space and discussion/ lounge area. The learning space is meant for workshops and can accommodate up to 25 participants. Putra Learning Space is equipped with several features including:

Smart board + tracking camera

projectors with screen (4 units)

audio system

wireless microphone

internet/ Wi-Fi access

laptops (for discussion)

Smart TV (discussion/ lounge area)
