UTILIZING THE GRID AS A FRAMEWORK IN BRINGING ABOUT CULTURE CHANGE
An organization's culture is its dominant driver - it either supports or resist change. Culture is a combination of attitudes, values, norms, traditions, precedents and past practices. All that has occurred before comes together in one imposing voice that speaks to each person in the organization about how to behave, how to interact, how to communicate and how to make decisions. Simply put, culture is – “The way things are done around here”.
Working to develop an organization’s culture requires change to begin at the individual level. Individuals bring with them a set of attitudes, values, and beliefs that drive behavior and decisions and produce results. In order to change the way individuals relate to others, change must first occur in existing attitudes, values and beliefs influencing behaviors and standards.
Teamwork is no longer optional. Human relationships is what enables individuals to build a solid foundation within and across teams to fully explore and maximize resources resulting in synergistic organizational results.

| The Dynamics of Teamwork: R1, R2 & R3 | ||
|
R1 - Resources: Defined as human resources such as individual abilities, education, skills, knowledge, experiences, enthusiasm, confidence, etc. R2 - Relationships: This represents how individuals and teams work together to achieve results. It is the nature of individual and team commitment and how resources (R1) translates into tangible results.
R3 - Results: This represents the outcome of an activity whether it is a product, a service or an idea. This can be viewed in many forms: new products & services, increase in revenue, productivity, morale, commitment, profits, cost reduction, company growth, etc.
Grid International’s culture-change methodology is supported by decades of research and real-world applications. Grid addresses 'how to change' rather than 'what to change'. Our methodology allows organizations to gain immediate benefits with strong value-based commitment to candor and effective collaboration.
