By appealing to the unique qualities of adult learners, we can design more effective and motivating courses. Adults learn much differently from children, and their motivation to learn is vastly different as well. It is important for educators to explore adult learning theory and practice, to engage the adult learner, and to provide learning opportunities that are both motivating and challenging. At the end of the session, participants will be able to: To enhance the educators’ knowledge of andragogy and its application; and To create awareness among educators about assessment approaches and questions for adult learners.
