USING SOCIAL MEDIA IN TEACHING AND LEARNING   9 April 2020 (Thursday) / 2.30 pm - 3.30 pm Trainer: Dr. Mas Nida Md. Khambari (Faculty of Educational Studies, UPM)   Social Media can be an effective tool for teaching and learning (TnL) in higher education. It can help in connecting students to information and generate dialogue with their lectures and fellow students regarding the course. This course walks you through on how to leverage social media in TnL by using the most common application. This course consists the following modules: i) Introduction to social media; example of social media applications - advantages and limitation; ii) Leveraging social media in teaching and learning activities as well as assessment.
