AUGMENTED REALITY (AR) WORKSHOP FOR BEGINNER 29 March 2022 (Tuesday) / 09.00 am - 05.00 pm Putra Learning Space (PLS), CADe Level 2, TNCPI Office Building, UPM Trainer: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Puteri Suhaiza Sulaiman Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, UPM     Augmented Reality, or AR, will transform how we see and interact with the world. Using your smartphone, mobile AR applications unlock the potentials of bringing digital information to user’s environment in real time. In this workshop, you will learn how to develop your own mobile AR applications. You’ll learn about the features offered by Unity’s AR Foundation, in collaboration with Vuforia Engine. Participants will learn to create one basic AR project from start to completion. Plus, participants will be guided through two (2) complete AR advanced projects, which they can make full use of, in their teaching.   Hardware: A PC installed with Unity Hub 3.0.1 and Unity3D 2020.3.0f1 LTS with compatible smartphone     Upon completion of the training, the participants will be able to:   explain the features offered by Unity’s AR Foundation, in collaboration with Vuforia Engine, design an AR mobile application and develop a complete AR project

		Note: Link to installation guide and project package will be given upon registration. Basic knowledge of Unity and programming are not required, but is an added advantage.
